This is How They Repay You

Dog ownership can be so rewarding.  They are loyal, lovable, fun and cuddly.

Yet there are times when there is a disconnect.  You think you do everything right and still something goes a little wrong.

This was one such night.  Cheyenne had her walks, had her food, had her loves and yet systematically took each piece of junk mail (one piece at a time) laying on the coffee table and shred into little bits.

Granted, I sat there and watched her do it, so perhaps I have parenting skill issues.  However, in my defense, I really thought she would respect me enough to stop.  Or at least get bored with it.

Oh well . . . live and learn.  Cheyenne still gets, her walks, her food and her love.  But she does not get access to mail anymore.

Check Out the New Look. . . And Other Crazy Stuff

In the interest of progress, I decided recently to switch blog themes.  Thankfully, WordPress makes this a pretty easy think to do.  I loved the chalkboard theme, but it just didn’t have the features I needed to make my blog site manageable.  I believe Diana’s (IWQ) words were “it looks clean.”  And I think clean is always good.

During the transition, things may be moving around and rearranging, so pardon my construction.  It is all in the benefit of greater blog education.

Also happening recently . . . I thought I’d take a stab at trying to teach Cheyenne to walk on the treadmill.  I mean, who wouldn’t love to take a cold morning off from walking the dog and freezing your toes and just put her on the treadmill.  I know it can be done . . . I’ve seen it on YouTube.

Take a look at my first attempt.  I have to say that the attempt and my video making (I totally thought my whole head was in the frame) are both quite lackluster.
